THIM is the Immigration Bureau's official app (on iOS and Google Play since 1 August 2026). It does not replace TDAC. It is another official way to submit it, within the 3 days before arrival (arrival day included).

What happened
Thailand's Immigration Bureau has officially launched THIM. According to Nation Thailand and Khaosod, citing the Immigration Bureau, the launch was announced around 1–2 October 2026. The app has been on the stores since 1 August 2026. We found no launch notice on the Immigration Bureau's own site.

What THIM does today
The Bureau has announced more features: queue booking, certificate of stay, visa extension, 90-day report and VOA. None of them are live yet. Don't present them to passengers as available.
What OTAs and airlines should do
Point passengers to the official channels only. That means TDAC or THIM, never lookalike paid sites. TDAC is free.
Time the reminder. Send it 72 hours before arrival.
Handle families. Allow group submissions.
Update your flows. Add THIM as an accepted official channel in the Thailand arrival-card step of your API or dashboard.

Coverage alerts send one email per rule change for the destinations you pick, from the partner console. Systems can take the same events as webhooks; the shape is in the developer docs. The live requirement for any passport is always in the requirements checker.
